That’s right – there’s finally some new music out. Two new songs are now finished – Downright metal “Driving Metal” and the epic “Follow”.
Driving metal is an online collaboration with Ron Swart on vocals. As the name implies it’s one bad ass heavy metal anthem. The song is full of energy, thick guitars, fat basses and one huge drum kit.
Follow is also an online collaboration with Lenny Lindquist from Sweden on vocals, Kolia Planche from France on backup vocals, Jim Raznoff (aka poots) from the US on bass, and Evan on Guitars. This song is a much more upbeat tune. Oh yeah – and Follow has an epic ending. Enjoy!

Tommy Lee, drummer of Motley Crue and various other acts, is working on his next solo project. But there’s a twist: He is inviting musicians from all over the world to download the stems of his song, one per week, recording their own ideas and then sending the tracks back Tommy. Here is my submission for the first song below. It got me a shout out from Tommy, as seen in the second video. There is about 700 submissions so far for the first week — so getting recognition is hard. Check out http://www.thepublicrecord.com!

Here goes this month’s update…
First off, the epic 8 minute long song, “Strange World” is now officially complete! This is the result of a really fun collaboration with the one and only Ron Swart on vocals. It features rich clean tones as well as face melting heavy licks – the mid-section jam will take you out by surprise. It also features an orchestral section in several portions of the song. Heavy guitars and and orchestra just mix very well. Click here to listen to “Strange World”.
I also have two new songs in the works – Both of which are thrash/speed metal. With some great parts by some musicians on RiffWorld.com, all instrumentals are done on these two tracks and I am just awaiting vocals by the amazing Ron Swart. It sounds like they are going to be some killer tunes. In addition, as mentioned in my previous post, I have another new tune called “Dreams”.
All four of these songs will be on my upcoming album. Don’t forget that you can listen to more of my tunes on the music page.
I would also like to share several incredible songs by some other artists. Lenny Vedder has two new songs that I had the absolute honor to play some small parts on. Everyone that collaborated on "Dreams"
Woohoo – a new song! “Dreams” was a online collaboration over RiffLink. I posted the stems and came back 2 days later with the amazing final product. It is a lot slower then most of my other material. The song has a lot of ambiance that adds a great sense of wonder thanks to Klasco Joe. Now here’s the question for you guys: Is it album worthy? Post your thoughts.

My debut album is nearly finished. After months of hard work, the album is approaching the final destination. 13 out of 14 songs are completed and one more song is currently in the works. In addition, many of the songs have been mastered, leaving only a few left. Expect the official Evan Berard debut CD release to be soon!
